Colorado sushi restaurant’s ads pair weed with food to celebrate legalization

Hapa Sushi

Colorado restaurant chain Hapa Sushi worked with ad agency TDA_Boulder on a new campaign that celebrates the legalization of marijuana in that state. The campaign suggests that patrons dining at one of the chain’s many locations can choose from a special menu which includes pairings like Pakalolo Shrimp with Pakistani Kush, Honey Miso Salmon with Sour OG, and Katsu Curry with Blue Dream. However, the Boulder Daily Camera reports that “These aren’t marijuana food products, and there is no smoking on the premises.” It seems the pro-pot restaurant simply wants to have some fun and celebrate Colorado’s new legalization.

Here are the other two ads that the restaurant is using:

“Our dining room is ergonomically designed to reduce paranoia.” A fine quality for any dining room, in our opinion.
