Everyone Peeps, cheeky diorama by Kate Hohman shows Peeps ‘pooping’ Marshmallow Fluff

So, THIS is how they make Marshmallow Fluff!!

For the 2014 Peeps Diorama contest held by the Washington Post, Washington-based Kate Hohman submitted Everyone Peeps a scatological-themed diorama showing two Peeps sitting on the john, “pooping” marshmallow into Fluff jars. Its title is inspired by the kids’ book, Everyone Poops.

The scatological inspiration came from Hohman’s husband, who sent her an image of a similar scenario featuring a peanut and a jar of peanut butter. She says the diorama took five to seven hours. “There’s some crudeness to it,” Hohman says, “but the fact that it’s Peeps makes it okay.”

Here is the entire diorama, which was a finalist in the contest, in all its glory:

Look closely, the Peeps are reading tiny versions of The Washington Post. Above one of them is a mini-framed portrait of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, and above the other is art from the What the Fluff? festival in Somerville, Massachusetts.
